Online French Language Class for Kids
Learning French can open the door to French-speaking countries and provinces in Africa, Europe, Canada, and the Caribbean. It can also provide your child with access to higher education and careers at universities and companies at home and abroad. The rhythm of oral French is beautiful. Kids learn French can explore almost more than half of the world easily. In 2016, because I was interested in foreign language teaching in urban communities, I conducted a semester research project in some French immersion classrooms in an urban community. My research shows that African-American students in the classroom are motivated to learn French because the content and language teaching uses materials and language relevant to their lives. Music, oral storytelling, culturally responsive text, the use of the first language and visual aids and gestures have effectively improved their understanding of the meaning of French words.
